Dear Carondelet Community,
Recent events in Minneapolis have deeply affected members of our wider community, creating fear, uncertainty, and hardship for many families. As a Catholic school, we are called to respond not only with prayer, but with compassion and action—especially for those who are most vulnerable.
Our faith reminds us that every person is made in the image and likeness of God, deserving of dignity, care, and love. In times like these, even small acts of solidarity can make a meaningful difference.
We have created an emergency response fund to support our community members and neighboring parish families facing financial hardship due to recent immigration issues. Families may contribute through our secure website or VENMO link. We will also continue to collect food donations and warm-weather gear for Waite House and neighboring parishes in need.
We encourage you to continue praying as a family for peace, for those who are fearful or suffering, and for wisdom and compassion among all who make and enforce policies that affect human lives.
Thank you for being a community rooted in faith, empathy, and service. Together, we can be a sign of hope and Christ’s love to those who need it most.
With gratitude and prayer,
Becky Harris, Principal
