2026-2027 Clubs

Carondelet is excited to offer a variety of Clubs & Activities for the 2026-27 school year. We will post updates in our News Notes as new offerings become available.

Chess Club (K-8): Carondelet partners with Twin Cities Chess Clubs to offer a morning chess club for Lower Campus (Thursday mornings from 8-9 AM) and Upper Campus students. (Tuesday mornings from 7:55-8:55 AM). Lower Campus Registration /  Upper Campus Registration

Spanish Club (PK-2): Carondelet offers a Friday morning Spanish Club, designed for students who attended a Spanish immersion childcare or who speak Spanish at home. Taught by O’Neill Language School, classes will include role-play, puppets, games, songs, dance, art, and culture. Register here>>

Karate (K-8): Lower Campus classes are Tuesday from 8:10-9 am; Upper Campus classes are Thursdays from 8-8:50 AM. For more information and registration visit Sterlingkarate.com. Use coupon code “10offKarate” for 10% off now through 9/15.

UC Yoga (3-8): Start your Tuesday with movement, mindfulness, and fun! This welcoming class, taught by Carondelet parent Kate Queeney, is for students of all experience levels, including complete beginners. Come ready to stretch, breathe, move, and start your day feeling centered and energized! Fall classes meet from 8:15-8:50 AM., September 15-October 27. Registration coming 8/28.

Sewing Club (K-2): Registration is now open for our Lower Campus fall sewing club! Discover and develop the useful skills of hand sewing while making fun projects like a stuffie, pillow or drawstring bag! The club meets Monday mornings from 8-9 AM, September 14-October 26.  Register here>> 

Embroidery Club (3-5): Registration is now open for our Upper Campus fall sewing club! Discover and develop the useful skills of hand sewing while making fun projects like a stuffie, pillow or drawstring bag! The club meets Wednesday mornings from 8-8:55 AM, 9/16/26-11/11/26. ZOOMS- Zoology Project (3-8): Carondelet offers a STEM club for students in grades 3-8 to design and build habitat exhibits for animals in the MN Zoo! From designing an enrichment, to building a model of a renovated animal exhibit, the problem will challenge students to use their science and math knowledge, creativity, problem solving, research skills, and love of animals during the engineering design process in order to best solve the problem and present a solution. Running from Sept 28th- Jan. 25th, 2027 on Mondays from 8-8:55am, this club will cost $250 per student.  Please register by September 26th to secure your spot. Register here>>

Band (4-8): Carondelet offers both a beginning and concert band program for students in grades 4-8. The cost is $28/month for 9 months ($252 per student annually). This fee does not include band lesson books, music stand or instrument lease/purchase. To register, please email David Thompson, Band Director.

Robotics Team (4-8): Carondelet Catholic School offers a robotics team for interested 4th through 8th grade students! Students will learn to design, build, code and drive VEX IQ robots to complete tasks in collaboration with their teammates. REGISTRATION COMING SOON!

UC Running Club: Spring Activity (registration TBA)

Boy Scout Troop 3089 is looking for boys with a sense of adventure! If you have a son (5th graders and above) who is interested in learning more about scouts, please have them come and join Troop 3089’s upcoming activities. For more information click here.

Girl Scouts: Now is a great time to become part of our community of leaders, explorers, entrepreneurs and engineers. Girls Scouts can join anytime from K-grade 12 and all adult volunteers are welcome! Visit girlscoutsrv.org/Join to join or start a troop!

Cub Scouts:  Scouts build leadership skills, service, and explore career development.  Parents can also email Brian Craig to learn more.

Yoga: We are currently looking for an instructor(s) to teach morning yoga at one or both of our campuses this year. Please contact Megan Hower if or someone you know may be interested in teaching.
